Florence, AZ is gearing up for Saturday night’s speech by former President Donald Trump, and the GOP Arizona has issued a list of items prohibited from being brought to the event.
Trump and his Save America political organization are holding the rally at Country Thunder Festival Grounds.
Saturday will be the first time in 2022 President Trump comes to Arizona for a political speech. Authorities are expecting roughly 40,000 to attend.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are taking part in security for the event.
According to the Arizona Republican Party, all guests attending Saturday’s rally are highly encouraged and requested to wear masks and/or facial coverings while going through the security screening checkpoint area to the event where 6 feet of social distancing is not available.

• Backpacks, bags, roller bags, suitcases bags exceeding size restrictions (12”x14”x5”)
• Balloons
• Balls
• Banners, signs, placards
• Chairs
• Coolers
• Drones and other unmanned aircraft systems
• E-Cigarettes
• Explosives of any kind (including fireworks)
• Firearms
• Glass, thermal and metal containers
• Laser lights and laser pointers
• Mace and/or pepper spray
• Noisemakers, such as air horns, whistles, drums, bullhorns, etc.
• Packages
• Poles, sticks and selfie sticks
• Spray containers
• Structures
• Supports for signs/placards
• Tripods
• Umbrellas
• Weapons
• And any other items that may pose a threat to the security of the event as determined by and at the discretion of the security screeners.
