Sen. Rand Paul's (R-KY) amendment to eliminate Dr. Fauci's job failed in a Senate Health Committee hearing on Tuesday. Six Republicans Join Democrats To Prevent Passage Of Rand Paul Amendment Eliminating Fauci's Job as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
Republican Senators Richard Burr of NC, Susan Collins of Maine, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, and Jerry Moran of Kansas each voted against the amendment.
Earlier Rand Paul Proposes Amendment To Eliminate Dr. Fauci's Job and replace it with 3 new directors of the following new institutes:
- National Institute of Allergic Diseases
- National Institute of Infectious Diseases
- National Institute of Immunologic Diseases
Each of these 3 institutes will be led by a director who is appointed by the POTUS and confirmed by the Senate for a 5-year term.

How are these Republicans still in their seats?
ReplyDeleteBecause they're RINO in a mainly liberal area
DeleteMake sure this information is put out across the country and they are voted out of office in 2022
DeleteNo surprise... The same ones that should have been kicked out of the party a long time ago.. if you run as a Republican when you are a democrat you should be replaced
ReplyDeleteRemember those names come election time
ReplyDeleteVote them out of office
