45th President of the United States, Donald Trump Says He Won’t Return to Twitter Even with Elon Musk in Charge: A Closer Look On This Read Here:
After Tesla and SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, one of the big political questions looming over the platform is whether former President Donald Trump will get his account back. Meanwhile, progressives are sounding the alarm about billionaire control of media and big-tech companies.
Among the many questions now looming over Twitter after Musk's acquisition of the company is whether Donald Trump will get his account back. For his part, Trump himself has said that even if he's allowed to return, he won't.
Trump in a media interview said"
“I will be on Truth Social within the week. Its on schedule. We have a lot of people signed up. I like Elon Musk. I like him a lot. He’s an excellent individual. We did a lot for Twitter when I was in the White House. I was disappointed by the way I was treated by Twitter. I won’t be going back on Twitter,” he said.
Ever since Elon Musk first raised the prospect a couple weeks ago that he might buy Twitter, speculation has swirled that, among other things, this could result in the former president, Donald Trump, rejoining the social-media site. Trump, of course, was banned from Twitter in January 2021, due to Capitol Riots. In response to the speculation that he might be reinstated to the platform, under an Elon Musk-owned version of Twitter.
Trump himself has reportedly said that he won't rejoin Twitter, even if he's allowed to, he had told this in his interview with Fox News this week. he will address the patriots through his own social media site TRUTH Social, where people are already facing the issue of the waitlist.
On Tuesday, the C.E.O. of Truth Social, former Congressman Devin Nunes, pleaded with the hosts of "Fox & Friends" to join the site and reveal their version of the word "tweet is truth," meaning that a post on the site is known as truth, and posting a truth is known as "truthing,"
Trump has posted just once on his website Truth Social, which has been billed as a free speech alternative to Big Tech platforms. It falls under the former president’s Trump Media & Technology Group, which is poised to merge with Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC). Shares in the stock plunged nearly 13% on Monday after Twitter announced it accepted Musk’s offer to take the company private.
Well then, I’m leaving Twitter. I joined because I thought I’d see president Trump there
