Donald Trump Finally Starts Posting On His Own Social Media Platform, Truth Social: I'M BACK!

Nearly after two and a half months after Truth Social publicly launched, its main attraction has finally arrived.

Former President of the United States, Donald Trump finally posted a post with his own photo on his own Social Media, TRUTH Social with the title: I'm BACK!


Trump also tacked on the hashtag "#COVFEFE" at the end of the post in a reference to the bizarre tweet he made back in 2017 before he was banned from Twitter in January 2021. In Trump's Truth Social there are "truths" and "re-truths" – Truth Social's version of what Twitter calls "tweets" and retweets."

Earlier Trump on his Truth Social handle posted about the Truth Social rising to the top of Apple's App Store. Truth App is also struggling with technical issues, waitlists, etc. also downloads to the app plummeted. This Trump platform also lost two of its key tech executives who resigned during this time as well. 

Elon Musk, who has recently purchased Twitter for 44 billion dollars, also posted about the truth Social App, as this app rises to the Apple store, Musk shared a screenshot showing this:


GOP leaders cheered Elon Musk's buyout of the social media platform in the hope that the Tesla Inc Chief Executive, who has vowed to relax content moderation practices to restore free speech (also conservatives are continuously censored by big tech giants) will invite Donald Trump back to the site. Since the deal was announced this week, former President Trump has said he would not return to Twitter and post only on his own Truth Social App.

Trump's elder son, Don Jr. also tweeted a screenshot of his father’s Truth Social account with one “truth” that he posted on Feb. 14, 2022, verified at the account of @reaDonaldTrump, with the message: “Get Ready! Your favorite President will see you soon!” Also, TMTG is planning to go public through a merger with blank-check firm Digital World Acquisition Corp, shares of which were up 7.7% pre-market Friday.
