Thousands gathered at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds to hear from 45th President Donald Trump and Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, Dr. Mehemt OZ.
Both spoke to the massive crowd of Western Pennsylvania during a "Save America" rally with just days to go before the May 17, primary election 2022.
In a political speech that lasted more than an hour, Donald Trump spoke for only a few minutes about the TV celebrity doctor, who he hailed as "the man who has by far the best chance to win Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race this fall.
Donald Trump may have helped Mehemt Oz more by lacing into Oz's chief rival in the GOP primary: former hedge fund manager David McCormick.
Trump reacts to McCormik and said: "liberal Wall Street Republican," who he mocked precisely for his efforts to curry Trump's favor.
But crowd reaction to Dr. Mehemt Oz appeared decidedly mixed, and Donald Trump offered little to Republicans who have misgivings about Dr. Oz's commitment to Trumpism.
Earlier it was expected but Trump also didn't make an endorsement in the state's wide-open governor's race. Nor did he address the leaked draft of a Supreme Court decision that would overturn the Constitutional right to an abortion promised 50 years ago in the decision Roe v. Wade. Trump's silence was notable.
Dr. Oz while addressing to patriots said:
"Republicans have been fighting and walking into the culture war with index cards. Index cards don’t work there. You've got to go in with your fist sometimes, metaphorically," Oz said.
Talking about the inflation he said: "Energy in this state is how we deal with our inflation. Number one way to deal with inflation, and it will also amazingly provide jobs here, energy independence within our country, and we can share with our friends," Oz said.
