President Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America, will hold the previously postponed rally in Greenwood, Nebraska, on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 5:00PM CDT. Earlier this rally was postponed due to severe weather, citing a chance of tornadoes.

Herbster rally in Greenwood was postponed, because of the chances of the severe weather and it had been pushed back to Sunday night. A media house talked with Herbster about this decision to postpone, and he replied, we didn't want to cancel as much as we wanted to have it. He was ready to get on the plane to come we made the mutual decision together the most important thing is the safety of the lives of all the people here, he was mentioning lightning hail, and tornadoes as concerns he had for this evening. As you can imagine people are disappointed with the decision to postpone, we spoke with folks from all across Nebraska about this news.

Trump has endorsed Herbster over a host of GOP rivals in the Nebraska race for Governor. Governor Pete Ricketts has endorsed Nebraska Regent Jim Pillen, and Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert is supporting Brett Lindstrom.

Republican candidate Theresa Thibodeau planned her own "Faith, Family and Freedom" rally for Friday afternoon, just down the road from the I-80 speedway in Ceresco.
