Daughter of Former US President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump posted a recent update about PM Shinzo Abe's assassination and death. Shinzo was assassinated during a campaign speech in western Japan. Ivanka on her social media account wrote:

Saddened by the death of Former PM Shinzo Abe, a truly historic figure & leader of lasting consequence. Abe’s advice, wisdom & warmth had a profound impact on me during my government service. My heart is with his family & the Japanese people as the world mourns his passing.

While on her Instagram handle, Ivanka shared 3 photographs with the Former Japanese PM Abe on her Insta account she wrote:

I am deeply saddened by the death of Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a truly historic figure and leader of lasting consequence. Abe’s advice, wisdom, and warmth had a profound impact on me during my government service. My heart is with his family and the Japanese people as the world mourns the passing of a great man.

Abe, 67, had a close friendship with Donald Trump during the Trump presidency, and the two leaders met several times as they sought to strengthen the alliance between Japan and the United States of America.
