In a video released to social media, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) spars with a reporter about the definitions of words.
In a video released on social media, Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene had a tense interchange with a reporter. The reporter asked Green how she defined "Christian nationalism." To great controversy, Greene has called herself a Christian nationalist. The Republican lawmaker defended her use of the term and rejected any implications of bigotry.
A conversation about the meaning of words in semantics ensued, with no resolution. When the reporter then asked her whether she considered herself a socialist because she was a social person, the sparks began to fly.
Talking about the MAGA Republicans, Rep. MTG said:
The word MAGA has been made into something bad. They're saying MAGA Whatever they choose, whatever kind of life they live, there is nothing dangerous about that. There's nothing terrifying about that. There's nothing bad about that. That is good for every single American, regardless of identity, political party, or whatever they choose.
"Make America great again" simply means having a great country. So these definitions that leftist groups or media companies use, and a lot of them are political activists who are Democrat political activists, want to take terms like "Christian Nationals" or "what other people think" and turn them into something bad.
I am simply saying that having a Judeo-Christian really be proud of your faith in God and loving your country are wonderful things and these are things that we should actually do. So do you call yourself a socialist? Rep. MTG asked a reporter outside the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.
