Tudor Dixon With Donald Trump in Michigan Rally |
Michigan Republican gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon slams former President Obama after he campaigned for Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI).
Michigan Republican gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon on Monday sounded off on former president Barack Obama, who visited the Great Lakes State on Saturday to campaign for Gretchen Whitmer.
Dixon condemned the former president's claims about crime and education. With Whitmer holding a lead of just a few points, the popular former president showed up this weekend to urge Democrats to go to the polls. painting Dixon and other Republican politicians as extremists.
Obama urged voters to preserve democracy by reelecting Whitmer. For Dixon to hold fast in her campaign to give Whitmer and President Biden their economic and cultural policies,
In her speech, Dixon said these lines:
But even if we look past these rules for the but not for me and we go back to that comment about books being more dangerous than guns, is she mocking us because that seems like she doesn't think there's a reason to be concerned about pornographic books in our schools? And people say, "What do you mean there are pornographic books?
I posted something on Facebook and Shane Hernandez, our lieutenant governor, was like, "I was blushing." He said I couldn't believe it. A couple of days ago, Jamie McElvaney from Let them play posted something on Facebook that's in our schools and she got suspended. That's how bad this is.
But notice Gretchen Whitmer wanted a comment on it. She wouldn't comment on it except for the fact that she mocked me, which ultimately meant she was mocking all of you that are concerned. That's how she feels about it. So, we know for sure, like Matt Deperno said, when they're joking about this baloney, having drag queens in school, we saw that in another state recently, these things aren't jokes, they're pushing the limits and we are going to stop the pushing.
I think when you have these events, I mean, we certainly didn't expect all of you to show up today. We're so excited about everywhere we go. We are getting more and more people when we have these events. The media is kind of like, "How's this happening? We were in the bag for Gretchen.
So when I first won the primary, I had one of the guys on radio say to me, "How do you think you could possibly do this? "Don't worry, everyone in the state will know my name, and Gretchen Whitmer will pay for it," I said.
