'Who The Hell Do You Think You Are!': Boebert Explodes At Ex-Twitter Exec For Shadow-Banning Her

• At today's House Oversight Committee, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) assailed ex-Twitter executives over her shadowban.

Lauren Boebert, a sitting member of the US Congress, recently exploded at a former Twitter executive for allegedly shadow-banning her account. 

During a hearing in front of the US Congress, Boebert accused the former executive, Mr. Roth, of suppressing her account for a tweet about Hillary Clinton. The congresswoman claimed that Twitter staff had placed a 90-day visibility filter on her account that excluded her from top searches, prevented notifications for non-followers, and more.

According to Boebert, the suppression of her account was a clear example of election interference and censorship by the big tech platform. She argued that Twitter was acting as an editor, not a publisher, and thus should not have the protections granted by Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. 

The congresswoman also expressed anger on behalf of the millions of Americans who were silenced due to the actions of big tech platforms and their collusion with the federal government.

During the hearing, the former Twitter executive denied the allegations of shadow-banning and stated that the FBI had never asked him to share users' communication data without going through proper legal channels. 

However, a respected reporter and author, Matt Taibbi, had previously published Twitter files suggesting a close and pervasive relationship between Twitter and the FBI, with more than 50 meetings between the two organizations.

The hearing also revealed the revolving door between the FBI and Twitter, with at least nine former FBI agents working for the platform. This raised questions about the independence of Twitter and its role in suppressing certain political views and opinions.
